Asante Descon was honored to undertake the construction of the new church building for Royal Impact Church International (RICI) in Gweru. This project was a significant endeavor aimed at providing a modern, spacious, and spiritually inspiring edifice for their growing congregation.
Our comprehensive involvement spanned from the initial design and planning phases to the complete execution of the construction works. We focused on delivering a structure that not only met the functional requirements of a contemporary church but also resonated with the architectural vision of RICI. Key aspects of the build included robust structural engineering to ensure the long-term stability and safety of the large-span worship hall.
The construction encompassed all critical trades: meticulous masonry (brickwork) for the main sanctuary and ancillary rooms, precise plumbing installations for restrooms and service areas, and comprehensive electrical systems to support modern audio-visual equipment, lighting, and climate control. Our skilled carpenters crafted essential elements such as roofing frameworks and interior finishes, while professional paintworks completed the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The project culminated in a beautifully finished church building that stands as a testament to quality craftsmanship and collaborative vision, serving as a spiritual beacon for the Gweru community.
