Building Zimbabwe's Future Through Technical Skills
The National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) Technical College has played a vital role in developing skilled artisans, technicians, and engineers for more than a century. Through practical training and industry-focused education, the college continues to prepare graduates for careers in the railway, engineering, automotive, construction, and manufacturing sectors.
Students benefit from modern workshops, experienced instructors, and practical exposure within NRZ's Mechanical Workshops, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in real industrial environments. This hands-on approach equips graduates with valuable technical skills that are highly sought after across Zimbabwe and the Southern African region.
The college offers National Certificate programmes and Skilled Worker courses covering Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Construction, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electronic Engineering, Fabrication, Machining, Millwright, Plumbing, Diesel Plant Fitting, and several other technical disciplines.
As Zimbabwe continues to industrialize, the NRZ Technical College remains committed to supporting Vision 2030 by producing competent professionals who contribute to national infrastructure development and economic growth.
